Ways to Wear Gingham: Layered

This is probably my favorite way to wear my gingham shirt - layered.  It's just an easy way to add more interest to a plain sweater.  I love trying out different color combinations too.  I think once I even paired this navy gingham with an orange sweater.  So I think you can try colors in the same family (blues, greens) or go with a complimentary color (orange).  You might remember this shirt/sweater combination from a previous post. I kept the same top and just added jeans, bright shoes and a different statement necklace to create a new look.  Easy!

Ok, time for my random of the day. Or maybe I should just call Random Wednesday my pet peeve wednesday.  This week it's random people that tell me to smile.  I'll just be sitting somewhere, minding my own business and someone will walk by and say, "Smile!" or "It can't be that bad, smile!".  Am I supposed to just sit there with a smile on my face just in case someone walks by? That's not natural and would probably look creepy.  I'm sorry that my natural expression is so displeasing to you.  And how do you know that something horrible just didn't happen to me? (ok, so maybe that's not the case but you don't know that!).
